Notes

This word is used for leaking liquid, gas, or things like sand. To talk about an information leak, use 'otHa' or, to be more clear, chIch 'otHa'.

The subject of nIj is the thing that has the hole or crack (or whatever) in it; the object is what's leaking out of it. The object is often omitted:

nIj pa' beb
the ceiling is leaking.

To say "the fuel leaks" and so on (where what is leaking is the subject) use ghIt or, if the leak is slow or relatively minor, use bol.
