English: be wrong, awry

German: schief gelaufen

KLCP:

Level 3
Notes

(Lieven, 11/07/2016 ):  Note the difference between three words conventionally translated as wrong. muj is "be incorrect, factually wrong", waS is "be amiss, awry" (something has gone wrong, this didn't turn out according to plan), and QIH is "mistreat" ["wrong, treat unjustly" in KGT].

See the slang word bachHa' "err, make a mistake" (KGT).
