It is used to indicate the best of something. For example, 'Ilyaw' 'oH tajvam'e' (literally, though clumsily, "this knife is an epitome") expresses the idea that the knife is of the best quality. When used as the object of rur, the quality is very high, but not necessarily the best: 'Ilyaw' rur tajvam (literally "this knife resembles an epitome") means that the knife is of extremely high quality.
